To View Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Thai, and other characters, the appropriate fonts need to be installed. In Windows XP, check out Start-Settings-Control Panel-and Regional Options to select General Settings and Language settings, and then check the boxes next to the languages you wish to be able to view. This will install the necessary fonts. You can also use the Google Toolbar translator or BabelFish at Altavista to translate the page.
